The role of this blog is going to be to keep all the nasty women informed on the current political situation in the United States of America. We may not have been able to get Hillary Clinton into the White House but we can continue to fight for our rights and stand up to a system that has betrayed us. And we are not fighting just for ourselves. We are fighting for every member of every class that is protected by the Civil Rights Act of 1964. We believe everyone should have equal rights and no one should experience discrimination.
Let's unite all the nasty women, men, Muslims, Jews, African-Americans, Hispanics, immigrants, LGBTQ+, people with disabilities, and every other American who feels attacked, disenfranchised, or afraid.
We are a group of nasty women (and men) leading a revolution to protect the rights of every citizen of the United States of America. Join our revolt against misogyny, racism, ignorance, hate, and discrimination.

Let's start a revolution!
Yesterday was rough. All the days from here will be rough but yesterday was particularly difficult. I sobbed. I equated my emotions to the feeling of the loss of a loved one. It honestly felt like someone died. I allowed myself one day to wallow. I cried, ate comfort food, talked to old friends (and made several new ones), grieved, got angry, and felt sorry for myself and all those around me who will be affected by this travesty.
This is a new day. I promised myself I would wake up this morning and start making plans. I thought about asking KB to find a post overseas. But today I say no. If it were not for all of the people throughout history who didn't run we wouldn't be as far as we are today. So I will stay and fight for my family, my friends, everyone who cannot fight for themselves, and for myself.
I will join movements.
I will lead movements.
I will make a change.
Join me and together we can start a revolution.
